Schedule & Compensation
Full-Time Position
Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm
Starting Rate: $22-$24 (depending on experience)
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists, estheticians, and support personnel.
Schedule and manage staff rotations to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours.
Manage schedule requests, call outs, rescheduling clients, and schedule changes.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
Create and analyze reports to help stylists reach their goals.
Customer Service:
Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
Monitor and maintain high service standards to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Financial Management:
Responsible for cash drawer accuracy
Work shifts at the front desk and properly manage and train staff on how to check out customers and use the register
Sales and Marketing:
Promote salon services and products to drive sales and meet revenue goals.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and events.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage salon inventory, including color products, backbar and retail lines and other miscellaneous salon supplies.
Place orders for supplies and products in a timely manner.
Ensure proper stock levels to meet customer demand.
Administrative Tasks:
Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining client records, and processing payments.
Prepare and submit regular reports on salon performance and key metrics.
Troubleshoot technical or operational issues and contact the proper companies for assistance.
Maintain an organized salon and assist with daily cleaning and basic maintenance needs.
Run salon errands when necessary.
Meet weekly with ownership and work as a team to achieve company goals.
Job Duties
2+ years of management experience in a customer service environment. (Salon, spa, retail preferred)
Supervision- Must be able to assign, instruct, supervise and direct team members. Must be able to enforce policies and rules firmly, tactfully, and impartially.
Organization- Must have ability to coordinate, organize, and prioritize many tasks demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
Technology- Strong computer skills, including previous experience with Google Drive, spreadsheets, & word documents.
Experience with Meevo (the salon software) preferred
Experience with Canva preferred
